Wing Construction

Material List

· Aluminum 10 ml Sleuter edge (Used typically for tile boarders)

· 25ml x 10ml aluminum strapping (Used to hold up h-vac ducting)

· 13 ml self tapping screws

· 2.5 cm rigid foam insulation

· Tuck tape

· Construction adhesive

· 3 cm sheet metal screws

· Velcro straps (2)

Assembly Instructions

· Cut rigid insulation to shape of wing

· Cut and assemble both ends (2) & sides from sleuter edging

(Use the cut out insulation as a template)

· Pre drill and assemble frame using self tapping screws

· Insert rigid insulation into assembled frame (Construction adhesive can be used to secure insulation to frame) – Must be compatible with foam

· Cut aluminum strap to required lengths (4 pieces) – 2 top & 2 bottom

· Connect straps to frame (2 top & 2 bottom ) – 3 cm sheet metal screws

· Secure Velcro straps to aluminum straps

· Shape handles (aluminum strap) and secure to wing

· Use Tuck tape to cover sides and ends of frame --- This will help to hold insulation in place and protect from sharp edges
